The State Government of Uttar Pradesh has recently released a female youth empowerment initiative named Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Scheme under which the Government aims to provide free scooty to all the meritorious female students who want to pursue higher education for their bright future. Under this scheme, the Government will offer free scooters to all the merit-based female students across the state.
The Government will soon start to implement this initiative and now the authorities have given the order to four members of the technical expert committee to gather and finalize the specifications of the scooters provided to the female students. About Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Scheme 2025
During the Financial Budget of the Year 2025-26 Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh State Mr Suresh Khanna has announced this Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Scheme aims to encourage female students to continue their higher education by providing them with free scooters on Merit-Based. According to this scheme the government will provide free scooters to all the meritorious female students so that they can pursue their higher education without any conflicts of traveling.
The Government will soon start implementing this scheme but before that, the Authorities have ordered to constitute a team of Four members of Technical Experts to finalize the key specifications of the scooters provided to the female beneficiaries. As per the news, the Authorities have allocated a total budget of INR 400 Crore for the implementation of this scheme.
Objective of Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Scheme
The main objective behind this Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Scheme is to provide traveling relief to all the female students who want to pursue their higher education but due to bad traveling services and distance of the educational institutions they are unable to do higher education. Under this initiative the Government will provide free scooters to all the meritorious female students who got 60% to 75% in HS Exams & want to pursue their higher education. The Government has allocated a financial budget of INR 400 crore for the implementation of this scheme and soon the authorities will start to implement this scheme across the state.
