The Government of Telangana State has come up with a new Social Welfare initiative named Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme for Ration Card Holders under which the Government will provide high-quality Rice to all ration card holders across the state. The Government will replace the low-quality rice provided to the ration card holders with fine high-quality nutrition rice. Ration Card Holders will now get nutrition rice provided by the Authorities of Telangana State and all those citizens who wish to avail of benefits provided.

About Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme 2025
Chief Minister of Telangana State Mr Revanth Reddy has announced this Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme to provide benefits to all the Ration Card holders across the state. Under this scheme, the Government aims to provide 6 KG of High-Quality Nutrition Rice to all ration card holders across the Telangana State. This initiative seeks to reduce the malnutrition issues faced by the Ration Card holders by receiving cheap quality rice recently. Till now the Government has started to implement this initiative only in Nalgonda District Area covering all the ration card holders and will soon cover the entire state in upcoming phases of this initiative.

Objective of Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme for Ration Card Holders
The main objective of this Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme for Ration Card Holders is to provide nutrition-rich rice to all the ration card holders in the Telangana State. Till now the government has provided cheap quality rice to all the ration card holders and due to that many citizens are not taking the rice from the government due to malnutrition. So to resolve this issue the Government has come up with this initiative, Under this scheme the Government will provide 6 KG of Nutrition Rich rice to all the ration card holders so that they can resolve their malnutrition problems.
Telangana Sanna Biyyam Phase 1 in Nalgonda District
The Government of Telangana State will first start to implement its first phase in Nalgonda Districts in April 2025. All the ration card holders in Nalgonda Districts will soon start receiving the benefits provided under this scheme from the April of 2025, After that the Authorities will soon cover the entire state in upcoming phases of this scheme.
